You Know You're A Med Student When...

I'm getting through medical school with the help and support from friends, family, and "those who have come before me." This is my way of passing the torch and sharing my thoughts for those who are about to set foot of the same path. WE ALL GET BY WITH THE HELP OF FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND THE BIG MAN UPSTAIRS.

No News On This End

Nothing interesting has been happening, aside from my wonderful studying (gag, gag).

I did decided to go for a run today, and, on my loop back to home, managed to trip on the 1 curb that this island has (i.e. right by the casino) and managed to fall flat on my face for everyone to see. I managed to scrape up my palms and knees pretty badily. I feel pretty stupid, as my little cousins are not as clumsy as I am.

I once walked into a door coming back into the lecture hall while class was in session. For some reason, I didn't want to walk through the door I'd already opened. Instead, I thought it would be real cool to bang the entire left side of my body into the closed door instead. Yeah, real cool.

Also, on Friday, I slipped right outside my room and fell kind of splay-legged on the floor. It was very cool as well. Except at least this time, I didn't get 160 curious stares and I got a nasty looking bruise on my knee instead.

Hope you're okay, but it's also nice to know that I"m not the only one that is accident prone.
